THE MAKER

Naishee Shah is a contemporary jewelry artist of Indian descent whose practise is driven by concept and process-led experimentation. Drawn to artistic expression from a young age, she found jewelry to be a way to translate stories, emotions, and cultural fragments into tangible form. Her work evolved through exposure to approaches that prioritize material inquiry and making as a form of research. Through exploratory processes, she creates works where experimentation, transformation, and thought guide form.
